Candle Making Class

In this 2 hour hands-on class, you will learn the basics of candle making and make your own container candle and other products using natural soy wax. Topics covered include:

  • equipment needed
  • the different types of wax
  • choosing a wick, fragrance and colour
  • make and take home a soy container candle, soy melts, and a rolled beeswax candle

What to bring

As we will be working with hot wax, dyes and fragrances, it’s not a good time to be wearing your best outfit! Dress comfortably, wear closed shoes and please bring your own apron.

This is an introduction to candle making basics, so no prior experience is needed. All materials and notes will be provided. You just turn up and be ready to have fun.

This allows us to offer the place to someone else, since our classes are often booked out in advance. Subject to availability, if you give less than 7 days’ notice, we may be able to put you on standby to attend a class that has a vacancy until the day before.

If you simply do not attend the class you booked for, you will forfeit the opportunity to reschedule, as we would have prepared your materials and held your place with the expectation that you would attend.
