About

Fascinated with scents and flavours from a young age, I gained my Diploma of Aromatherapy in 2001 and more recently in 2016, attended a Perfumery course in the south of France run by the Grasse Institute of Perfumery.

My career path is an unconventional one, beginning as a classical pianist, with music degrees from Australia and the US, then becoming a lawyer in Sydney and Singapore, with a return to music before starting this business. Throughout this time, my love of baking, and curiosity about ingredients (edible and non-edible) has intensified, which has led me into making soaps and cosmetics from scratch.

I use quality natural and organic ingredients, such as essential oils, natural clays and luxurious butters to create my products, as well as fragrances, colours and ingredients that are non-toxic and safe for cosmetic purposes. Everything I make is designed to be multi-sensory, appealing to our senses of sight, touch and smell, and is something that I like to use myself. I have sold my products in wholesale and retail environments, including pop-ups and collaborations.

Since starting my business in late 2012, I have taught over 2500 people in face-to-face workshops in candle, soap and bath body products. Starting with a shop in the Dymocks building in Sydney city, I later moved to other locations over the years, most recently a studio in Willoughby, which served as both a production and workshop space.
